🌱💦🌎Earth Day 🌍💦🌱

Knowing our planet and knowing how to take care of it is important.
The earlier the theme is addressed with children, the greater the chances of awakening awareness by preservation. Therefore, education for a sustainable life should begin in Early Childhood Education.

During the month of April we here at Hyde & Seek  learned small attitudes that contribute to preserving the Earth, how not to waste how water, separate the rubbish, reuse materials whenever possible and also plant and take care of our plants.

Practicing Rhymes

Who here does not remember a rhyme sung or recited during childhood by parents and teachers? In addition to being fun and curious, rhymes are very important in language development. The rhymes are excellent for helping children develop early language skills. This is because they increase awareness of spelling and phonemes, which are essentially the sounds that make up words.

In this sense, practicing rhyming texts out loud is fun and helps children to better understand the meanings of words. And that allows for a broader understanding of the language

How about we dance with the little leprechaun?

I’m a little Leprechaun

( Tune of I’m a Little Teapot)

Contributed by Leanne Guenther

Song:

I’m a little leprechaun
Dressed in green,
The tiniest man
That you have seen.
If you ever catch me, so it’s told,
I’ll give you my big pot of gold.

Actions:

I’m a little leprechaun
(hands on hips)

Dressed in green,
(point to shirt)

The tiniest man
(hold thumb and index finger about an inch apart)

That you have seen.
(point to the other people)

If you ever catch me, so it’s told,
(make a motion like you’re grabbing at a leprechaun)

I’ll give you my big pot of gold.
(make a motion like you’re giving something away)

International Women’s Day

She believed,

She could,

So she did.

And these women believed that they could care for and raise children who were not their own with much love and professionalism and we at Hyde & Seek are proud of the team of dedicated women we have and we couldn’t help but honor them on this day.
Thank you to our incredible women for all their dedication and hard work in the care and integral development of our little ones.

Happy Women’s Day!
